About the practice
Make the structure
do its share.
An interface works best when the page hierarchy, the labels and the interaction all point in the same direction.
Christopher David Smith offers frontend interface design from Waco, Texas. This portfolio focuses on responsive websites, interface systems and interactive prototypes.
The original concepts make small design decisions visible: where to place a filter, how to distinguish an article summary and how to explain the next action. They do not claim a launched product, a client engagement or measured usability results.
For a project, the audience and intended task come first. The content, implementation environment and review responsibilities then define what needs to be designed and built.
